Did you know that even English
was once a Bibleless people group?
It was! The Bible was 昀椀rst written
in Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic
and wasn’t translated into other
languages for many years. It wasn’t
until the 1300s that a man named
John Wycliffe translated the Bible
into English for the 昀椀rst time! So
if you think about it, all languages
have been Bibleless at some point
in their history.

Many languages

we call these “Bibleless
people groups.”

The Ge language in China is one of
those groups that still needs a Bible
translation. In 1937, the Ge people
received some portions of the Bible,
but they need to have more.
